Summer savory is a tall 18 inch growing annual, with small narrow green leaves that have a strong peppery flavor. It is widely used for bean dishes, as well as red meats and heavy sauces. Reduces flatulence.  Fast growing. Grow in full sun with adequate water early in the season. Prune back flowers to maintain a bushier plant and increase its life. Flowers are also peppery flavored.
